The "Cage" and Steven Dobler Memorial Activity Court
The "Cage" has long been a hot spot of activity in Ellendale. Located just across the street to the east of the swimming pool, the "Cage" has hosted countless numbers of Basketball, Tennis, and other games over the years. However, time has taken its toll on the facility. Backboards, Rims, Tennis Nets, Lighting, and even the cement surface are in need of some repairs which will cost thousands of dollars. With our annual finances already stretched to the limit, the Ellendale Park Board is asking for your help in giving a facelift to a venue that almost every youth that has ever lived in the City of Ellendale has used, as either a place to play sports, or just to meet up with friends for a night of fun. The Park Board has a challenge for you. If you were someone who had the opportunity to use the "Cage" as a kid, we want you to think back to those times, and if you can find it in your heart to donate just a dime, or maybe a quarter for every hour that you had spent at the "Cage" to the restoration project, we would really appreciate it. Or maybe you are just a concerned citizen that realizes that our youth need a nice place in Ellendale for some good, clean, wholesome fun, we are asking for your donations to our "Cage" repair project. There are a couple of ways to donate. You can drop a check in the mail to: Ellendale Park Board PO Box 602 Ellendale, ND 58436 Please write "Cage Project" in the memo of the check.
The other way to donate is just to click on the "Donate" button at the bottom of this page, and PayPal will securely take care of your donation online.
The Park Board and the youth of our community would like to thank you for your generous support of our "Cage".
