South (City) Park



The South Park encompasses a two block area the intersection of 2nd Street South and 5th Avenue.  There is a variety of facilities for the whole family to enjoy.  There are picnic shelters, numerous pieces of playground equipment, a concrete band stand, and restroom facilities.  The shelters and bandstand can be reserved for your specific events.  The cost to reserve the shelters is: $50 for the large shelter on the north side of the park, and $25 for the smaller ones on the south end of the park.  Non-profit organizations can reserve the shelters free of charge.  Just call City Hall at 349-3252, or click on this link to email your reservation.
